A lost laptop should be an inconvenience, not a data breach. I make sure your Windows computers are encrypted, patched and protected, that staff are not working as administrators, and, where your licence allows, that devices are managed centrally. For Apple, Chromebook and Android fleets I set up enrollment so new devices arrive configured.

- Intune enrollment and a security baseline where your licence includes it
- Apple Business Manager with Mosyle or Meraki, or Google device management, for automatic setup
