How it works

I scope the work and tell you how many hours it should take at $155 an hour. You choose how many hours to buy.
I do the work after hours, then hand over a plain-language summary and show you how to manage it yourself. Or we agree on a schedule for me to check in on your business.
The work happens after hours, but messages don't wait. On weekdays I reply the same evening, between 6 and 8 PM. On weekends, between 10 AM and 6 PM. Anything that comes in later gets a reply as soon as I can.

Over 20 years in IT has a way of teaching you things no certification can. I started at the helpdesk in 2006 as the person who picked up the phone when something broke, and worked my way up through enterprise infrastructure, multi-site operations, and eventually into cybersecurity. That ground-up path means I understand every layer of a business's technology, not just the security layer on top.
Today I work as a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist at a Vancouver-based MSP, supporting organizations across construction, engineering, mining, food services, and more. I've responded to live breaches and rebuilt security postures from scratch. Many businesses start somewhere between 0% and 20% on their security score, and I bring them up to 75% or higher. Security keeps evolving, so the goal was never 100%: it is staying proactive about the threats that come next. Once clients get there, they never want to go back to how things were.

I work with businesses and self-employed people. For a hacked personal email or home computer, a local computer repair shop is the better call.

Recovery has to go through the platform itself. What I can do is help stop it happening: MFA, passkeys and strong, unique passwords.

Yes. If you have someone who can do the hands-on work, I can review your setup, show you where the gaps are, and give you a step-by-step runbook for each fix. You only pay for the hours the review and runbooks take, and I am a call away if you get stuck.
You do. Subscriptions are bought directly from Microsoft, Google or the vendor in your name, and you hold the admin access. There is no middle man between you and your own accounts, and you are never locked in.
Most of the work, like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, email and domain security, is done remotely. Network and device work may need a visit, which I can arrange in Langley, Surrey and Greater Vancouver.
